A French tea rose from 1881, it has heavy, full, sweet-scented, pale yellow flowers which keep on opening all summer long, giving their final show in autumn. It grows well in sun or shade and won't get blackspot. Good for cottage gardens because of the way its relaxed, thin branches tend to bend and flop under the weight of the flowers. Hard to find in the UK, but available from specialist nurseries in Europe.
