The yellow-flowering 'St Keverne' belongs to the Trumpet group of daffodils, and has one flower per stem with a prominent 'nose'. The bulbs are best planted in drifts, either by digging scores of individual holes or by peeling back a section of turf and planting several at a time, about 10cm apart. They go in at one and a half times their own depth. Cut off the dead flowers but let the foliage die down naturally.
