'Burgundy Ice' is a sport of the popular garden variety 'Iceberg' that was dicovered in a garden in Tasmania. It's a floribunda variety producing clusters of unusual dark plum-purple flowers. It grows to about 90-100cm (3-4ft) and flowers throughout the summer months. Plants benefit from regular deadheading to encourage new blooms. Plants should be pruned in the autumn or early spring removing any dead, diseased or weak growth, and shortening healthy shoots by about half. Always prune to a healthy, outward-facing bud. After pruning, feed plants with a rose fertiliser.
