'Sweetie' is a low growing variety that's ideal for containers as well as the front of the border. Plants grow to around 60cm (2ft) and produce clusters of attractive pale-peach flowers from early June to Mid-October. Like all roses, it will benefit from regular deadheading throughout the growing season to encourage it to produce further flowers. Prune lightly in autumn or early spring, to remove any weak or damaged growth and shorten any long shoots to promote bushy growth. After pruning feed with a rose fertiliser. If being grown in a pot it is advisable to use a soil-based compost. After pruning, apply a rose fertiliser and mulch around the plant.
