A classic bourbon rose, 'Gypsy Boy' produces clusters of attractive deep crimson blooms with bright golden anthers. These are followed by clusters of bright orange red hips in autumn It has a graceful relaxed habit that is perfect for cottage gardens and informal plantings. It can also be grown as a climber if trained against a wall or obelisk. It is quite disease resistant and the thorny stems make it a good addition to an informal hedge.
