'Water lily ' is an upright growing variety with formal double, deep pink flowers and a rich scent. Camellias are handsome evergreen shrubs ideal for the sheltered patio or garden. They prefer rich acidic soil and should be grown in raised beds or large pots where soils are unsuitable or spring frosts very severe. Never water them with tap water which can cause their foliage to turn yellow.
