Sunflower

'Sunrich Lemon' is a large flowered variety of the traditional easy-to-grow sunflower. The blooms have greenish brown centres surrounded by a row of bright lemon-yellow petals. These are held on tall stems. Like all sunflowers this is an ideal variety for children to grow and look after throughout the summer months. Encourage plants to grow vigorously by preparing the planting site well, with manure of fertiliser before planting. Once the flowers fade they can either be removed or left on the plants to set seed. This will attract wildlife into the garden during the winter months.
