'Florenza' is an attractive variety with unusual bicoloured flowers. Each bloom has a dark centre surrounded by a row of dark maroon petals with pale creamy-yellow tips. These give each flower a rosette appearance. Plants have a branching growth habit that ensures they produce lots of flowers throughout the summer. For the best effect plant them in a bold drift at the back of the border. This variety features in the Gardeners' World Sunflower Trial 2004. The flowers are also good for cutting.
