Sunflowers are easy to grow and always create a bold statement in the border with their large flowers. This variety which features in the Gardeners' World Sunflower Trial 2004, has bright golden yellow semi-double flowers, with a row of large petals on the outside and lots of smaller petals in the centre. Plants are easy to grow from seed and produce blooms freely throughout the summer. The flowers are pollen-free making them ideal for cutting because they last well in water and make little mess.
