Coneflower

Holder of the Royal Horticultural Society's prestigious Award of Garden Merit (AGM), this attractive perennial produces lots of bright golden flowers with reflexed petals, held high on tall slender stems. The stems are very sturdy, so that plants should remain upright without the need for staking. 'Herbstsonne' is an excellent variety for providing colour at the back of the border. To propagate, divide plants from autumn to spring.
