Blossoming Britain photo competition

About the competition

During Chelsea week, we asked you to put your photography skills to the test and help us create a snapshot of Blossoming Britain. We asked you to send in your photos, taken during Chelsea week, of a flower in bloom in the UK. The response was phenomenal. We were inundated with photos, many of which were simply stunning.

Winning photos

The winning photo and 11 runners-up have now been chosen by judges Alan Titchmarsh and award-winning photographer Clive Nicholls. Congratulations go to Richard Crompton, for his spectactular photograph of a poppy.

Richard wins a digital SLR camera and a master-class in photography with Clive Nicholls, as he's taken around the Hampton Court Palace Flower Show.
