3 April: Berkeley Castle

James and Alistair are in Gloucestershire to visit the magnificent Berkeley Castle, home of the Berkeley family for 850 years. James cooks a mouthwatering Venison Wellington, as Alistair uncovers a royal murder.


4 April: Nether Winchendon House

Nether Winchendon House in Buckinghamshire is the grand location for today's stately supper. James includes a Crayfish starter in his three-course menu followed by a succulent roast duck. Meanwhile Alistair uncovers some fascinating treasures including a depiction of Henry VIII.  


5 April: Chavenage

James and Alistair visit the Cotswolds and the wonderful Elizabethan manor house of Chavenage. James cooks up an Organic vegetable soup followed by a wholesome and delicious Beef and ale pie while Alistair discovers an inspiring family-run house.


6 April: Cothay Manor

James and Alistair visit Cothay Manor in Somerset, a wonderful example of a small 15th century manor house. Salmon and mussels are on the menu as James gives his stately supper a medieval twist while Alistair checks out some treasures including recently discovered ancient wall paintings.  


7 April: Highclere Castle

James and Alistair visit Lord and Lady Carnarvon at Highclere Castle in Berkshire. Lord Carnarvon's great grandmother helps James add a Victorian twist to his stately supper and Alistair discovers relics from the tomb of King Tutankhamun.
