The semi-finalists proved that it was the comedians and sports people who had what it took to beat the heat of the MasterChef kitchen. Rugby star Matt Dawson, writer and comedian Hardeep Singh Kohli and athlete Roger Black made it through to the finals after three weeks of hard work and hard decisions. But it was scrum-half Matt Dawson who won over Gregg Wallace and John Torode and got crowned Celebrity MasterChef 2006.
