Chefs bluffed and gambled their way to winning dishes in this BBC Two series.


Friday 2 November

Paul Rankin's Two-way squid

Today's players were Theo Randall, Richard Fox, Paul Rankin and Daniel Galmiche.

In the final round, Richard and Paul showed how versatile an ingredient squid is, between them thinking up three ways to cook it. Watch a video masterclass in preparing squid.


Thursday 1 November

Jun Tanaka

Jun Tanaka, Peter Gordon, Galton Blackiston and Lawrence Keogh were in the poker den today.

Galton and Jun were challenged to make a dish using chicken livers in the final showcase. Watch a video recipe for chicken liver parfait with brandy.


Wednesday 31 October

Galton Blackiston

Around the poker table today were food and beer specialist Richard Fox, New Zealander Peter Gordon and Great British Menu's Stuart Gillies and Galton Blackiston.

Stuart and Galton were dealt an unusual hand, cooking with sweetbreads in the final round. Find more offal recipes.


Tuesday 30 October

Today's players were Something for the Weekend's Simon Rimmer, Irish chef Kevin Dundon, Jamie Oliver's mentor Gennaro Contaldo and master of 'fusion food' Peter Gordon.

Kevin and Simon both went for pan-fried black pudding dishes in the final round, but which of them was most impressive? Find out more about cooking with black pudding.


Monday 29 October

Today's show was battled out by Martin Blunos, Ready Steady Cook regular Paul Rankin and Great British Menu veterans Galton Blackiston and Atul Kochhar.
