Ingredients

  • 1 ripe yellow plum, stone removed, flesh cut into quarters

  • 1 tbsp sloe gin

  • 1 tbsp crème de cacao

  • 25ml/1fl oz Cognac

  • 25ml/1fl oz sweet vermouth

  • orange twist, to garnish (optional)

Preparation method

  1. Place the plums into a cocktail shaker and mash well.

  2. Add the sloe gin, crème de cacao, Cognac and sweet vermouth.

  3. Add some crushed ice and shake well.

  4. Strain into a Martini glass and garnish with the orange twist, if using.
