
6 kumquats, cut in half, plus extra to garnish
1 tbsp ginger and lemongrass cordial (available online and from specialist suppliers)
1 tsp sugar syrup
crushed ice
50ml/2fl oz mandarin-flavoured vodka
Place the kumquat halves, ginger and lemongrass cordial and sugar syrup into a tumbler and muddle together.
Add the crushed ice and the vodka and stir until the ice has melted a little.
Top up the glass with more crushed ice.
Hook a sliced kumquat onto the edge of the glass, to garnish.
