
A slice of ripe peach, in season from July to August, adds a fruity note to this refreshing julep cocktail.
8 fresh mint leaves
40ml/1½fl oz peach-infused bourbon
1 tbsp sweet sherry
1 tbsp extra old rum
sprig fresh mint and peach wedge, to garnish
Muddle (crush) the mint leaves in a cocktail shaker, then add the bourbon, sherry and rum and a handful of ice.
Stir well, then pour into a silver julep cup and garnish with a sprig of fresh mint and a peach wedge.
