
½ can chickpeas, rinsed and drained
1 garlic clove
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tsp sesame seeds
1 tsp chopped fresh parsley, to garnish
salt and freshly ground black pepper
1 jar grilled aubergines, drained

4 pitta breads, lightly toasted
For the hummus, place all of the hummus ingredients, except the parsley, into a food processor and blend until smooth, then place into a serving bowl and garnish with the fresh parsley.
For the baba ganoush place all of the baba ganoush ingredients into a clean food processor. Blend to a thick paste and season, to taste, with salt and freshly ground black pepper. Place into another serving bowl.
To serve, place both bowls of the dips onto a large plate and serve with the pitta breads.
