Ingredients

  • 8 fresh mint leaves

  • ½ lemon, juice only

  • dash sugar syrup

  • 50ml/2fl oz spiced mead

  • 25ml/1fl oz sour green apple liqueur

  • crushed ice

Preparation method

  1. Place the mint leaves, lemon juice and sugar syrup into a glass tumbler. Alternatively, use a traditional metal cup. Muddle the mixture together.

  2. Add the spiced mead and sour apple liqueur, then add a scoop of crushed ice.

  3. Stir the mixture, then fill the glass to the top with more crushed ice. Serve immediately.
