
Announce the evening with a refreshing gin cocktail.
35ml/1¼fl oz gin
2 tsp lychee liqueur
2 tsp Maraschino liqueur
25ml/1¾fl oz yuzu juice (available from some supermarkets and Asian grocers, or specialist online retailers)
2 tsp lemon sugar (caster sugar mixed with lemon zest)
sparkling water, to top up
1 sprig fresh Thai basil to garnish
Place all of the ingredients, except for the sparking water, into a cocktail shaker with a handful of ice and shake hard.
Strain the cocktail into a glass, top with sparkling water and garnish with Thai basil.
