Serve this simple onion salad on top of toasts or crispbreads as a canape or as part of a smörgåsbord.

Preparation method

  1. Cut the toast into triangles on a serving platter. Top each toast with a small pile of onions, a spoonful of sour cream and a small spoonful of caviar.

  2. Serve with a glass of aquavit.
