Hanky panky

There are just three ingredients in this potent cocktail from The Savoy Hotel. Try it as a pre-dinner drink.


  • 50ml/2fl oz gin

  • 25ml/1fl oz Dubonnet, or other wine-based apéritif

  • 1 tsp Bénédictine, or other herbal liqueur

  • twist orange peel, to garnish

Preparation method

  1. Place the gin, Dubonnet and Bénédictine into a cocktail shaker. Add a handful of ice and stir well.

  2. Strain the cocktail into a wine glass and garnish with a twist of orange.
