Ideal snack food, these unusual fruit crisps are great for packed lunches and picnics - a great way to get kids to eat fruit too!
Preheat the oven to 70C/150F/Gas 4. Place a sheet of greaseproof paper on a baking sheet.
Pour 500ml/17fl oz of water and the sugar into a pan, bring to the boil.
Place the fruit slices in the syrup and boil for 3-4 minutes. Drain in a colander.
Arrange the drained fruits in a single layer on the baking sheet and bake for approximately six hours to dry out.
