Date and bacon butty

Bacon-wrapped dates tucked in soft white bread - a butty for mornings when you crave both sweet and savoury.

Ingredients

Preparation method

  1. Roll up each date in a slice of bacon.

  2. Slide the wrapped dates onto a skewer and fry in a pan over a medium heat until the bacon is crisp and thoroughly cooked.

  3. Slide the cooked wrapped dates off the skewer and place between two slices of bread to serve.
