Tuna tartare tuna (fresh)

Serves 1

Quick Recipe


Ingredients
75g/2¾oz fresh tuna steak, finely chopped
½ green chilli, finely diced
1 salad onion, white only, finely chopped
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp sesame oil
1 tbsp clear honey
½ lime, juice only
salt and freshly ground black pepper
½ tsp sesame seeds, to garnish


Method
1. Place the tuna, green chilli, salad onion, soy sauce, sesame oil, honey and lime juice into a large bowl. Mix together well and season with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
2. Place a 5cm/2in chefs' ring in the centre of a plate. Spoon in the tuna mixture and press down until firm.
3. To serve, remove the ring and sprinkle over with the sesame seeds.
