Toffee apples apple

Cooking time 10 to 30 mins

Vegetarian Quick Recipe


Ingredients
3 Cox's apples, peeled, cored and sliced
55g/2oz butter
4 tbsp brown sugar
30ml/1fl oz double cream


Method
1. Place the butter and sugar in a shallow pan.
2. Heat gently until the butter has melted and combined with the sugar.
3. Add the apples and cook for 8-10 minutes, or until the apples are soft.
4. Pour in the cream and heat for a further three minutes.
5. Remove pan from heat and pour into a large dish to serve.
