Sweet potato steamed dumplings sweet potato

Serves 2

Vegetarian Quick Recipe


Ingredients
1 small sweet potato, peeled and finely diced
1 tbsp cornflour
2 tbsp plain flour
1 pinch salt
sesame seeds, for coating
soy sauce, for dipping


Method
1. Blend the potato with the cornflour, flour and salt in a food processor.
2. One-third fill a saucepan with water and bring to a simmer. Place a steamer basket over the top.
3. Shape the potato dough into 2.5cm/1 inch balls.
4. Roll the potato balls in sesame seeds.
5. Steam the dumplings for 8-10 minutes or until cooked through.
6. Serve with a dish of soy sauce to dip the dumplings in.
