Ingredients
1kg/2¼lb floury potatoes, peeled and cubed 1kg/2¼lb swede, peeled and cubed 85g/3oz butter salt and pepper
Method
1. Put the potatoes and swede into a large pan of salted water. 2. Bring to the boil and simmer until tender. 3. Drain, season well and mash with the butter until smooth.
