Mini mangosteen 'toffee apples' other

Vegetarian Quick Recipe


Ingredients
100g/3½oz caster sugar
4 mangosteens, peeled


Method
1. Place a frying pan on a medium heat and melt the sugar until it forms a pale golden caramel.
2. Remove the pan from the heat and dip the base in cold water to stop the cooking process.
3. Put the peeled mangosteens into a serving dish, place cocktail sticks in each mangosteen and then pour over the caramel. Leave to set.
4. Serve once fully set.
