Green beans with garlic and almonds green bean

Serves 4-6

Cooking time 10 to 30 mins

Vegetarian Quick Recipe


Ingredients
450g/1lb French green or bobby beans
3 tbsp olive oil
2 cloves garlic, sliced thinly
100g/4oz slivered or whole almonds
2 tbsp tamari soy sauce


Method
1. Drop the beans into boiling water and boil for 10 minutes. Drain and pile into a warm serving dish.
2. Gently heat the oil with the garlic until it is just turning golden, quickly toss in the almonds and the tamari, stir and brown a few minutes longer. Tip over the green beans. Serve immediately.
