Club Sandwich sandwich

Serves 1

Cooking time 10 to 30 mins

Quick Recipe


Ingredients
2 slices of bread
1 tbsp olive oil
1 slice of bacon
½ tomato, sliced
25g/1oz crab meat
25g/1oz frisee lettuce, chopped
2 tsp mayonnaise


Method
1. Use a pastry cutter to cut 2 large circles from the bread.
2. Drizzle the circles of bread with olive oil before placing them in a griddle pan. Griddle until toasted.
3. Place the bacon in a frying pan. Fry for 1-2 minutes, either side.
4. Remove the bread from the griddle.
5. Place the pastry cutter on a flat plate.
6. Push one of the toasted circles in the base of the cutter.
Remove the bacon from the fry pan.
7. Trim the bacon to fit the pastry cutter. Place the bacon on top of the toast.
8. Place the tomato slices on top of the bacon.
9. Place the crab on top of the tomato.
10. Combine the lettuce and mayonnaise. Place the lettuce and mayonnaise on top of the crab.
11. Place the second circle of toast on top of the lettuce and mayonnaise.
12. Carefully remove the pastry cutter and serve the sandwich.
