Ingredients
½ carrot, finely chopped 7 Brussels sprouts, finely chopped pinch powdered ginger 2 tbsp vegetable oil ½tsp cumin seeds 100ml/3½fl oz water 3 tbsp soy sauce 2 tbsp sesame seeds 1 handful fresh basil 1 handful fresh coriander 1 handful fresh chervil 1 lime, juice only
Method
1. Heat the vegetable oil in a wok, add the carrot, the Brussels sprouts, pinch of ginger, cumin seeds and water. Bring to the boil and cook for ten minutes, stirring occasionally. 2. Add the soy, sesame seeds, fresh herbs and lime juice and stir well. 3. Pour into a large bowl and serve.
