100g/3½oz tinned butterbeans, rinsed and drained
1 tbsp chopped fresh sage leaves
½ lemon, juice only
1 garlic clove, chopped
2 tbsp olive oil
salt and freshly ground black pepper
4 slices ciabatta, toasted, to serve
1. Place the butter beans, sage, lemon juice, garlic, olive oil and seasoning into a small food processor and blend until smooth.
2. To serve, spread the butter bean mixture onto the toasted ciabatta.
