75g/2¾oz Camembert
4 sprigs thyme
1 clove garlic, sliced
For the garlic croutons
2 slices of toast
1 clove garlic
1. Preheat the oven to 200C/400F/Gas 6.
2. Use a medium round cutter to cut a round of Camembert. Place the Camembert in a baking dish of the same size, so the Camembert fits snugly.
3. Make several incisions in the top of the Camembert and insert the thyme and slices of garlic into the incisions.
4. Bake the Camembert in the oven for 10 minutes.
5. Meanwhile, for the croutons, rub the garlic clove over the toast and cut the toast into large chunks.
6. Serve the baked Camembert with the garlic toast.
