
200ml/7fl oz milk
200ml/7fl oz double cream
1 free-range egg
25g/1oz caster sugar
50g/1¾oz dark chocolate, melted
30ml/1fl oz brandy
Place the milk, cream, egg, sugar and most of the melted chocolate in a small saucepan and gently heat, without boiling, until the mixture thickens enough to coat the back of a spoon.
To serve, drizzle the melted chocolate around the inside of a tall glass. Pour in the brandy and add the warm eggnog.
