Breakfast Martini


  • handful ice

  • 50ml/2fl oz gin

  • 20ml/¾fl oz fresh lemon juice

  • 1 tbsp sugar syrup (often sold as gomme syrup)

  • 2 tsp rindless orange marmalade

  • orange peel, cut into a long thin strip, to garnish

Preparation method

  1. Place all of the ingredients, except the orange peel, into a cocktail shaker and shake well to combine.

  2. Strain the mixture into a Martini glass and garnish with the orange peel.
