Preheat the oven to 200C/400F/Gas 6.
Place the flour, baking powder and butter into a blender or food processor and blend until the mixture resembles breadcrumbs. Add the eggs, salt and milk then blend until the mixture forms a ball.
Fold in the Stilton and walnuts and then turn out onto a floured surface.
Knead for a couple of minutes and then shape into an oval. Push the surface with your fingers to make small dents. Scatter with a little sea salt.
Place on a baking tray in the oven, bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden on top and sounds hollow when you tap the underneath. Slide onto a board and leave to cool for 5-10 minutes.
Serve while warm, sliced and spread with lashings of butter.
