16-19 January 2008 National Winter Ales Festival, Manchester

beerOrganised by the Campaign for Real Ale, the National Winter Ales festival boasts more than 200 beers, real ales, perries and cider. There is also food, plus competitions and engraving. The special event to check out this year is the Best British Winter Beer competition. Families are welcome and there are concessionary rates too.
