Paul established his reputation for British cuisine with an Asian twist at some of London’s top restaurants. He did an apprenticeship at The Ritz, then trained under Gary Rhodes at The Greenhouse in Mayfair. After his food earned rave reviews at other restaurants in the capital, he returned to The Greenhouse as head chef and earned it a Michelin star. Since then, Paul has been involved in less formal – but equally successful – restaurants and gastropubs.
Paul made his name in television as the presenter of BBC Two's Ever Wondered About Food... series and co-presenter of a BBC Two ten-part prime-time series called The Best. Since then he has appeared regularly on our screens.
