After completing a degree in corporate law, Patrick Ryan chose to swap law books for chef's knives and hasn't looked back since.
Both a chef and a baker, Patrick cemented his passion for food under the watchful eye of Michelin-starred chef Kevin Thornton. Having worked in Ireland, the UK and Australia, in 2012 Patrick returned to his native Ireland where he set up The Firehouse Bakery and Bread School.
In 2012 Patrick co-authored his first book, Bread Revolution, which aims to return bread to its rightful place as king of the table.
