
Lesley Waters studied French cuisine at Ealing College before joining Prue Leith's Restaurant in 1978, where she rose to the rank of senior chef. Later, she teamed up again with Prue as an instructor at Leith’s School of Food and Wine, quickly becoming a head teacher there.
Lesley has worked in TV since 1989, appearing regularly on Ready Steady Cook and presenting shows such as Can’t Cook Won’t Cook. As well as teaching at her own cookery schools, the first of which was opened in 2006, she has also written cookery books.
