
Lesley Waters studied French cuisine at Ealing College before joining Prue Leith's Restaurant in 1978, where she rose to the rank of senior chef. Later, she teamed up again with Prue as an instructor at Leith’s School of Food and Wine, quickly becoming head teacher there. In 2006 Lesley opened her own cookery school, ‘Abbotts Hill’ in Dorset.
Lesley has worked in TV since 1989, appearing regularly on Ready Steady Cook and presenting shows such as Can’t Cook Won’t Cook. Lesley is a regular contributor to BBC Good Food Magazine and has written almost twenty cookery books.
