A traditional accompaniment to Christmas pudding and mince pies, brandy butter is made with unsalted butter, sugar and brandy. It can be bought ready-made in pots and jars or made at home.
Almondy mince pies
Brandy butter is a Christmas star, but there’s no reason not to enjoy it at other times of the year if you wish, with a fruit strudel, for example.
