British chillies: Growing UK's hottest crop

Chillies are no longer crops just grown in hotter climes, chilli farmers have firmly taken root in the UK.

Fans can buy special types bred in the country, and seeds to grow, as well as the produce themselves.

But as Joy Michaud from Sea Spring Seeds explains, matching your chillies correctly to your cooking is important.

She says as well as the heat they are famous for, there is also a difference in flavour in every type.
