Face Transformer
The University of St Andrews has launched a web site called Face of the Future. The site is an EPSRC funded public engagement project aimed at exploring the latest advances in facial computer vision and graphics, and what they mean for society.
We put Lesley and John's face into the Face Transformer. We turned Lesley into an apewoman and John into a manga cartoon, you can see the results below.
If you want to transform your face visit the Face of the Future site (this is an external site).

UEFA Hero
Former soldier, Tom Bardsley has told us how he saved a police officer from a mob of Rangers fans after the UEFA cup final.
PC Mick Regan's ordeal was captured on police cameras, he was knocked to the ground, kicked, punched and stamped on after getting separated from his colleagues.
He says he managed to struggle to his feet, and had just avoided another kick from a Rangers fan, when he saw a man running towards him.
