Janet and Paul from the Flashing 12s joined us last night. What is a Flashing 12? They say: "A ‘Flashing 12’ is a person with no technical inclinations – the name comes from the fact that when you walk into their house their VCR is Flashing 12:00, because they can not figure out how to program it." (http://www.podcast411.com/f12.html)
Chris also tracked down Paul Woodhouse, a part time bartender at The Shooters Arms. Paul runs Britain's first pub blog.
Paul helps you understand ways not to…ahem…anger bar staff and much more. Give it a listen.
I caught up with Norm Geras and Shalom Lappin, who helped launched the Euston Manifesto, a new online call for a realignment in British politics.
Norm gives a good explanation of how the manifesto came to be here on the New Statesman.
Basically, he said: "At that first meeting our discussion focused on our common sense of discord with much current left-liberal thinking. We talked of how the prevailing consensus had ample representation in the liberal press, on the BBC and Channel 4, whereas the viewpoint of our own segment of the left was significantly under- represented in the mainstream media. We had, however, found a place on the internet and in the blogosphere, which had helped to connect people who might otherwise have felt isolated and had given expression to the voices and debates of a left other than the one heard loudly everywhere."
We also revisited the last week's milblogger conference in the US. We spoke to Captain Gary Borland of the US Marines one of the bloggers behind Anothersoldier.com.
Blogging and podcasting is about people talking about their passions. Paul of MiniPaul.co.uk is a classic Mini enthusiast, and he has taken that passion into podcasting.
That's all for this week. Let us know if you've got a blog or podcast. We'd love to talk to you.

Chris is in Canada this week, so I'll fill in for him this week. I remember when we started doing Pods and Blogs last year, we often got the questions: "What is a podcast? What is a blog?". We've moved on a long way from there!
