Blogging London's tragedy07-07-2005

by Chris Vallance

Monday's show is almost certainly going to deal with the bombings in London and the way in which the blogs and podcasters covered the horror of the day.

We are particularly keen to hear from listeners who blogged or podcast about events, or indeed simply used the blogs as a way of getting the news. You can get in touch with us via email, upallnight@bbc.co.uk

Certainly the blogs have had plenty to say on the issue. American, Jeff Jarvis has a host of interesting links on his site buzzmachine.com and on Wikkipedia. The Londonist was blogging minute by minute as was Perfect.co.uk. A survivor has posted his account on Pfff and there's extensive coverage on Metroblog London

Random Acts of Reality
is a site maintened by a blogger who works for the London Ambulance Service.

People have been contributing photographs to sites like NowPublic , Flickr and one of the most haunting images of the day on Alfies Moblog

There are one or two podcasts on Britcaster.com
