What’s your ambition? |
I’ve achieved my main aim of going self-employed and working for myself and consulting for the likes of the English and Wales cricket board, the Football Association and top race courses.
I’ve yet to have my own sports programme on radio or television though, which I’d really like!

If your house was on fire, what 3 things would you save? |
Has to be my Wisden collection, my Gotcha Oscar from Noel Edmonds, and my laptop, so I could at least work from the
garden shed.

What’s your favourite weather? |
Storms and extremes! There’s a show there you know!

The best piece of advice you’ve been given? |
Can I have two? Never make a hobby out of your career, and I remember someone telling me at my first TV audition at Pebble Mill, “your first time on TV, you’re an uninvited guest, so be friendly to your viewers.”

If you could be anyone for a day, who would it be? |
I’d be Michael Vaughan, opening the batting for England against Australia at Lords, and scoring a century!
To know how that would feel would be fantastic.
