Quite simply, this is a film inspired by, and dedicated to, office temps. It seemed that every job I was sent to as a temp was merely another devious way of starving me of daylight, human contact and sanity! The plot runs: man sat in room watching clock, waiting for the phone to ring. The tickin clock gets louder and the cuts get faster and close to evoke tension, and then the punchline explains exactly why he is in the room and why he is waiting for the phone to ring. It's a bit childish really, but it makes me smile.

I enjoy comin up with ideas for short films, but rarely get the chance to make them. My New Year's resolution was to make more of them, and also to start working with underwater films as the sea has always fascinated me since I was a child.
