SYNOPSIS OF STORY

This is an experimental piece made on a video phone and edited in Premiere. Damian then mixed a soundtrack corresponding to the images.

Director - Nikki Hilton

This is Nikki and Damian's first collaboration together and the first time Nikki has made a film using his video phone. Both work in the field of architecture, but have other interests which inform their work. Nikki is interested in the relationship between the process of filmmaking and architectural design, while Damian, an ex-Radio One DJ, is interested in the musical intepretation of imagery.

Utter, Utter Tripe. Damian, stick to to being a DJ and cut the "musical intepretation of imagery" rubbish out. Nikki, If this is the best at film you can come up with I wouldnt want to live in a house you designed.

1 Pint of Lager-top

So very very bad. I dont even see the point in this!! :(

spacemonkey
A disjointed collection of mostly static images edited together with no narrative or direction coupled to an annoying soundtrack. This must be art, then.

Oxgangs Mo
I enjoyed its rich experimental quality.

Gekko.
Although it seemed a bit disjointed, I like the idea. An interesting reincarnation for a national radio DJ.

Simply making a film using odd equipment doesn't make the film inherently good. Truly a spectacular waste of your time. Nikki... Your interests *really* impress me... I am oh so impressed by your "interests"... please tell us more about your "interests" in simple easy to digest four second sound bytes. How "interesting". Eeee GADS.

StarForce
Interesting visuals, but i didnt connect them to form a whole. The playful soundtrack complemented what was on screen

Davey_Boy
This film was total and utter pants. Experimental? Excremental. Ahem.

James Roberts
Quite fascinating really. I really liked most of the soundtrack. a few of the transitions were a bit harsh and "took me out of the moment" but overall i think this is inventive and cool. It has a dreamlike floaty quality, yet somehow seems to have a goal. Not that i know what this is. Different, funny and original
