Here's an
argument to
consider - A
film director
has succeeded
if his
audience
enjoy a film
without
knowing or
being able to
explain why.
For me this
falls into
that
category. You
can't call
this a horror
movie because
nothing
horrible
happens,
although it
generates
great armfuls
of dark
satanic
atmosphere.
60 seconds
isn't long
enough for
much of a
story, so
maybe
atmosphere is
enough. 10/10.

and the devil
eyes-well...

The quick
cuts to the
devil with
red eyes are
quite
striking,
along with
the sound
effect. But
it gets very
repeatative.
Instead of
building
tension
(which I
assume was
the
intention) it
just gets a
bit silly.
The camera
work was
pretty poor
(too many
crash zooms).
There are a
couple of
nice shots
near the end.
Like the low
angle shot
with the sun
shining
through the
gravestone.
